So, How does it work?
It’s actually very simple. We operate just like a normal cafe, except that we also have a wide range of creative activities available on our menu, as well as delicious coffee and healthy food. We have table service and our friendly staff will help you navigate the menu and answer any questions you might have.

Do I need to book a table?
Booking is definitely recommended. You can book easily online, or call 9995 2861 if you plan on arriving within the hour.

How does the craft pricing work?
Most things that are available are listed on our menu and displayed in the cafe. Our main crafts are Pasting (charged per person), Painting and Playdough (charged per set). We have a combo where you can do any two of these activities for $12 and they are also priced individually. Then we have Craft Sides. These are things like plaster pets, masks and trinket boxes. Craft sides have a blue square price label on our display are are grouped together on our menu. When you order a craft side, you only receive the item you order. If you want to paint or paste on to that item, it is ordered and charged separately. As an example: If you want to paint a Peppa Pig plaster, you must also order a Painting to paint the plaster in store. You receive a complete painting set which includes an easel and paper to paint on, so you can extend the life of the activity. We also have craft kits. These are things like necklaces, headbands and foam crafts. Everything you need to complete the craft comes inside the kit. These are identified by a circular label on our display.

What time does your kitchen close?
Our kitchen hours are 9 - 2 during the week and 8:30 - 3 on weekends. We have a selection of sweet and savoury snacks that are available outside of kitchen hours, but you can’t order brunch or toasties from the menu when the kitchen is closed.

Where are you located?
We are on Sydney Rd, Brunswick in the Anstey Village just north of Albion St. The closest train station, Anstey, is just minutes away and the 19 Tram stops on the Albion St Corner.

Can I bring food to Crafternoon?
With the exception of baby food we do not allow outside food in Crafternoon. We have a full menu available and cater well to different dietary requirements and allergies.

Is there parking close by?
Yes, there’s plenty of parking near Crafternoon. We recommend parking in the Jones St carpark, which is ticketed, or off Sydney Rd there are many 2hour parking spaces. Parking on Sydney Rd is not recommended as it is for a maximum of one hour and highly policed. The west side of Sydney Rd is a clearway in the afternoon from 4pm and they tow cars daily.

Do you accept craft donations?
Yes, we're happy to accept craft or picture book/magazine donations. Please bring them in to the cafe any time.
